Mother Nature's April Fools Joke

We awoke this morning to a foot of fresh snow. Art and I both like to get out of bed and go stomp the village trails. Here is our Chalet this morning.
Art is heading down the road to shovel out the Hydro plant. We have so little power this Spring. We need this stuff to melt so the creek will rise and give us power.

We were told at dinner tonight that this April is the snowiest in 27 years and we are only 2 days into it. Winter total of 221 inches so far.

Are you and Art making plans for a trip to Hawaii in order to defrost before returning home? It's absolutely a world of it's own there at Holden. Enjoy the silent beauty!
