A Night in Lucerne - Part Three - Camping

What can I say? I am still in awe of where I am. We camped at Refrigerator Harbor and it was beautiful. For a reality check, please know that it is 38 degrees out and snowing right now. My camera broke after these shots, I will wait to post until my new one arrives.

I was at Holden last year at this time and I remember the huge difference between Lucerne and the village temperature wise. There was one "weekend" that Matt W and I took bikes down to Lucerne in the morning to hike up to Domke (sp?)/look for morels- in the village I wore my sunglasses to keep the falling snow out of my eyes, once we were in Lucerne I needed them so as not to get sunburn.
Good luck with the new camera!

It's so fun to hear about your adventures at Holden. I laughed when I read the 'reality check' part. Peace!
